Students from the fon university visited the delegation of european union

A group of 40 students from the FON University visited the Delegation of European Union and met with the Ambassador Erwan Fouéré, who explained the role of the Delegation in the country.

The students also attended a lecture held in the EU InfoCentre about the history of the European Union.

Tijana Dodov from skopje won the prize of best drawing on gender equality organised by the european commission

“I couldn’t believe when my mom told me that I had won the 1st award. I was very happy”, the visibly excited little Tijana Dodov said at the opening ceremony of the exhibition of 14 best drawings of the International competition on Gender Equality at the EU InfoCentre.

The series of lectures entitled “Open doors for students” continued with the visit by students from the High school “Orce Nikolov”. About 20 students on 2 November visited the EU InfoCentre and attended a lecture on the history of the European Union.

EU lecture for the elementary school Zivko Brajkovski

The EU InfoCentre on 4 June hosted a presentation about the EU for eighth grade pupils from the elementary school Zivko Brajkovski from Skopje. About 40 students participated at the lecture about the history of the EU, its institutions, as well as the joint achievements of the European nations. Following the lecture, they took part in a Questions & Answers session and a short EU Quiz.

Europe day celebration 2010 – richness of events

The 2010 Europe Day and the 60th anniversary of the Schuman Declaration were celebrated with 35 events which took place in the period between 27 April and 27 May. The celebration included various activities and partners which were announced at a special press conference which took place at the EU InfoCentre on 23 April 2010.
