The Delegation of the European Union in partnership with numerous other organisations, Embassies and municipalities, will organise and support over 30 events throughout the country in order to mark the 67th birthday of the European Union and bring the European integration process closer to the citizens.

Europe Day 2017 will be marked in many ways related to Sport, like the Skopje Marathon and Football Tournaments, European Member Statas contribution events, cultural events, the annual matriculation dance for the secondary school graduates as well as numerous debates, lectures, competitions and local festivities taking place all over the country.

The members of the EU Information Network - the EU info points in the municipalities of Debar, Ohrid, Gevgelija, Kavadarci, Kocani, Bitola, Tetovo, Gostivar, Strumica, Kriva Palanka, Veles, and Kumanovo - will organise Europe Day happenings on 9th May at 12h in order to celebrate the European idea at the local level.

There will be the EU bus traveling around the country and visiting the following 5 villages: Negorci, Petrovec, Plasnica, Srbinovo and Prosenikovo.
